Silhouette Black Electrostatic Mat Set with Embossing Mat, Heat Pen Set and Embossing Tools

Give your Silhouette Cameo 5 three pro techniques in a single order: clean adhesive-free cutting, raised embossing and bright metallic foiling. The set brings together four Silhouette pieces designed to work together: the 12×12-inch Black Electrostatic Mat that holds your material with static electricity, the matching Embossing Mat, the Embossing Tool Set with fine and wide tips, and the Heat Pen Set — the foil tools often called foil blades — with gold and silver foil. Every piece works with the Cameo 5, Cameo 5 Plus, Cameo 5α and Cameo 5α Plus.

Key Features

  • Adhesive-free cutting, no residue: a conductive network inside the Electrostatic Mat builds a static charge that holds paper, cardstock and vinyl flat while cutting — no curling, no tearing, and far easier weeding and cleanup.

  • One-touch hold: the mat connects directly to your machine's terminal; press the electrostatic suction button and the white light confirms your material is locked in and ready to cut.

  • Embossing ready from day one: the Type C embossing tools work with the 12×12-inch Embossing Mat, and both are in this set, so you can start embossing the moment your order arrives.

  • Rock-steady embossing: the Embossing Mat grips cardstock or foil by vacuum instead of adhesive, with 4 media plates for the edges, so your material stays flat under the tool and every raised line comes out crisp.

  • Two tips for every detail: the 1 mm fine tip for delicate lines and patterns, and the 3 mm wide tip for broader channels and bold raised borders.

  • Foil with heat, not pressure: the Heat Pen reaches about 150°C and permanently transfers foil onto compatible materials such as cardstock and faux leather, for a clean, bright, long-lasting finish.

  • Your machine does the foiling: the pen fits Tool Holder 2 and heats up from Silhouette Studio with no cables, then your machine applies the design automatically.

  • Start right away: gold foil, silver foil and masking tape come with the heat pens for your first projects, and Silhouette replacement transfer foils keep you going after that.

      FAQs

Which machines does this set work with?

The full set is made for the Cameo 5 family — Cameo 5, Cameo 5 Plus, Cameo 5 Alpha (Cameo 5α) and Cameo 5α Plus — and if you own a different model, message us before ordering and we'll recommend the right accessories for it.

Can I use the Electrostatic Mat with the Heat Pen?

The Electrostatic Mat is your cutting surface, and foiling is done on a standard cutting mat: lay your material down, place the foil on top, and tape all four sides with the included masking tape for a clean, steady transfer.

Does the Electrostatic Mat need adhesive or consumables?

No adhesive at all; you lay the Electrostatic Protection Sheet over the mat each time, and both the sheet and the Roller Guard Tape are included consumables with Silhouette replacements available, so the mat keeps performing like day one.

Will every material hold on the Electrostatic Mat?

It firmly holds thin materials such as paper, cardstock and vinyl, and if a particular material doesn't fully hold, simply tape its edges and keep cutting as usual, just as Silhouette recommends.

How do I start my first foil project?

Select Heat Pen from the Specialty Tools panel in Silhouette Studio and turn on the heat — the pen's light turns red and it's ready in about 3 minutes — then run a small test on a smooth-surfaced material and peel back the foil to check the transfer before your final piece.

How do I get the cleanest embossing?

Silhouette Studio includes creasing and embossing functions that make a half-cut with the AutoBlade in Tool Holder 1 before embossing, so your raised lines come out sharper and cleaner.

How do I care for the pieces so they last?

Wipe the Electrostatic Mat with a soft, dry cloth from time to time and use it in a dry room, peel the clear film off the Embossing Mat before use and put it back before storage without folding the mat, and let the heat pen cool for a moment after use before removing it.

      Why It's Worth It

Because it brings together everything your Cameo 5 needs for adhesive-free cutting, raised embossing and bright foiling in one order, and the pieces that depend on each other — the embossing tools and the Embossing Mat — arrive together so you can start your first project right away.
