Product Details
Creality Falcon2 Laser is a laser engraving and cutting machine with an open aluminum frame and a large 400 × 415 mm work area. Choose the laser module power that fits your work: a 22W diode for detailed engraving and cutting wood up to 15 mm in a single pass according to Creality, or a 40W diode for thicker, faster cuts, with a fine mode for smooth engraving. It works at speeds up to 25,000 mm/min, with air assist built into the module for cleaner edges. Because it's a powerful open-frame laser, safety glasses and a protective metal plate come in the box, and the laser shuts off automatically if the machine tilts or tips over.
Falcon2 Laser Highlights
- Two power options: a 22W diode, or a 40W diode with two modes you switch between with a long press of the module button; normal mode up to 40W for thicker, faster cuts and fine mode up to 20W for smoother engraving and a narrower kerf.
- A large 400 × 415 mm work area for panels, signs and large pieces, with extra stackable riser feet that lift the machine over taller workpieces.
- Speeds up to 25,000 mm/min for faster work; the 22W version cuts wood up to 15 mm in a single pass according to Creality, and the 40W version cuts even more powerfully.
- Air assist built into the laser module with an included air pump whose strength you set with a knob or from LightBurn: light air for engraving and strong air for cutting, for cleaner edges and a lens that stays clean.
- Triple monitoring on the module with AIR, FIRE and LENS indicators that alert you instantly to weak airflow, a flame or a dirty lens.
- Layered protection: the laser shuts off automatically if the machine tilts, tips over or falls, with an emergency stop button and a key safety lock, plus safety glasses and a protective metal plate in the box.
- Computer-free operation from the included TF card with a file you export from LightBurn, and a Frame preview with a low-power beam that traces your design's outline on the material so you can position it with the arrow buttons before you start.
- Works over USB-C with LaserGRBL on Windows with no license fee, and with LightBurn on Windows and macOS (separate license after a 30-day trial).
- An aluminum alloy frame keeps motion steady at high speeds, and it arrives preassembled, so setup is just fitting the riser feet and laser module and connecting the air pump, as the user manual explains.

FAQs
Does the machine run on Saudi mains power?
Yes. The external power adapter accepts 100–240V at 50/60 Hz, so the machine runs on Saudi 220V mains directly with no voltage converter. The included cord has a US plug, and a simple grounded plug adapter is all you need with it.
Which should I choose: 22W or 40W?
Both versions share the same frame and work area; the difference is the laser module: the 22W diode is for detailed engraving and cutting wood up to 15 mm in a single pass according to Creality, and the 40W diode is for thicker, faster cuts, with a fine mode up to 20W for smooth engraving that you switch to with a long press of the module button. So if cutting is a big part of your work, choose 40W.
What do I need to run it safely at home or in a workshop?
This is a powerful open-frame laser (Class 4), and running it safely takes a few simple steps: wear the included safety glasses throughout the job and have anyone sharing the room wear matching glasses (extra pairs are available from Creality); place the included metal plate under the material; run it in a well-ventilated spot away from flammable materials with a fire extinguisher within reach; stay with it until it finishes; and let children under 10 use it only under adult supervision. The machine helps you too: it shuts off the laser automatically if it tilts or tips over, alerts you to flames and weak airflow, and puts the emergency stop button and key lock within easy reach. You can also add Creality's protective enclosure around the machine (sold separately).
Do I need a computer to run it?
You need one to prepare the file: design it on your computer, then run it directly over the USB-C cable, on Windows with LaserGRBL (no license fee) or LightBurn, and on macOS with LightBurn; or export it from LightBurn to the included TF card and run it from the machine's control panel without keeping the computer connected. The machine doesn't connect over Wi‑Fi, so the TF card is your way to run jobs away from the computer.
How do I set the focus?
With the included multi-level focus cube: place it between the module and the material, lower the module until it touches the level that matches your material's thickness, then lock it with the thumb screw. The included TF card also holds video tutorials and suggested material settings to help you from your very first job.
Are the honeycomb work bed and rotary included?
No, the honeycomb work bed, the rotary for cylindrical surfaces and the protective enclosure are optional Creality accessories sold separately, and the machine works without them: the box includes a protective metal plate to set your material on, plus three basswood boards so you can try it from day one.
