FAQs

Does it work on our 220V power?
Yes. It accepts 100 to 240 volts, so you plug it straight in with no converter. It arrives with a US plug, so a simple plug adapter is all you need.

What is the difference between it and the F2 Ultra?
The F1 Ultra has a 20W fiber laser — enough for black-and-white engraving on metal and light cutting, and it costs less. The F2 Ultra has a 60W MOPA laser that engraves metal in color and is one and a half times faster, with the same work area. Choose the F1 Ultra to start out and for mid-volume production, and the F2 Ultra for color work and heavy production.

Do I need two separate machines for metal and wood?
No. Both lasers are built into the same machine, and you switch between them in the software with nothing to take apart or install.

Does it cut clear acrylic?
The diode laser cuts opaque acrylic well, while clear acrylic needs a CO2 laser such as the P3.
